To the legal voters, residents of Sangamon Township in Piatt County and State of Illinois, that the Special Town Meeting of said Township will take place on
September 12, 2024
6:30 p.m.
The purpose of said meeting is to review a petition to grant permission to the Piatt County Trailblazers to obtain licenses necessary to sell alcohol during two events in the calendar year of 2025. This request is specific to beer sales by the Main St. Pub for all three nights of the Rodeo scheduled in June 2025 with an additional request for at least one additional one day event at another time of the year during the 2025. Date of the additional events will be presented in writing to the Township Board a minimum of thirty days prior to the event. Each event will require licenses be obtained through the Main St. Pub umbrella.
