Township Clean-up Days
October 10 & 11, 2024 at Township Shed
Thursday - 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.*
Friday - 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.*
At the Township Shed for Sangamon Township Residents Only.
Pass the word to your Sangamon Township neighbors. Please be prepared to show proof of residence.
*Collection will end when dumpsters are full - first come, first served.
Suggested donation of:
$10.00 per small pickup
$20.00 per large pickup truck
$10.00 per small trailer
$20.00 per large trailer
$75.00 per farm truck
Additional donations can/will be charged at the discretion of the Township Officials
Items allowed:
- Refrigerators
- Air Conditioners
- Vehicles batteries are accepted, but MUST be separated from other waste

- YARD WASTE

- TIRES
- PAINT

- HAZARDOUS WASTE

Naloxone (Narcan) available for members of our community
In a partnership effort to prevent fatal opioid overdoses in our community, Sangamon Township is partnering with the Piatt County Mental Health Center (PCMHC) to position a weather proof box at the Township Road Building that will contain Free boxes of Naloxone (Narcan) that will be available for members of our community.
